How Adobe Has Transformed My Design Journey

Have you ever had a great idea for a poster, invitation, logo, or business card but never knew how to create it on your own? I know, I have. However, once I explored the opportunities of what Adobe software has to offer everything changed. In today’s world, creativity plays a major role when it comes to success. However, translating ideas onto paper is not always as easy as it sounds. Adobe has not only allowed me to visualize my imagination, but has also enhanced my design skills allowing my creativity to expand even further.

Over the past month, I have gained experience in all of the amazing tools Adobe has to offer that bring my ideas to life. Through the use of InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop I have been able to create my own brand from scratch and design every detail myself. Adobe gives people an opportunity to explore their own imagination and design their ideas.

Adobe as a whole can be very intimidating, however, once you understand how to use each tool and individual program, it provides endless opportunities for imagination and creativity to flourish. Although there are many different platforms and softwares Adobe has to offer, it is not as intimidating as it may seem. It is easy to learn the best ways to utilize every tool and once you start creating, it is difficult to stop! A great way to fully understand Adobe and its programs is by taking the time to watch the Adobe tutorials on how to use the different programs and tools they have to offer. After watching and following along with the tutorials on my own, I felt confident in my abilities to start bringing my own ideas to life.

Even though I am still new to the Adobe software, I feel that my skills have improved greatly by creating my own personal brand. With the assistance of Illustrator, InDesign, and PhotoShop I was able to use my imagination and creativity to design a logo from scratch and build a brand off of that logo. One of my favorite parts of using Adobe was the ability to create my own color palette. Although it may seem like a small, simple detail of my design, I enjoyed the fact that I created a color of my own to match the theme of my brand and logo. The colors I wanted for my logo were purple and yellow. I wanted my brand to promote light and positivity. I was able to create the perfect pastel shades of purple and yellow that were bright and engaging.

Once I discovered the power of Adobe, I can confidently say my struggle to bring my ideas to life has been eased. Adobe has helped me not only visualize my imagination but has also expanded my design skill. Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator have provided me with the tools to open up my imagination and create a beautiful design that started on a plain white sheet of paper. Adobe is a software with no limitations when it comes to imagination and creating. I have loved exploring all of the different tools Adobe has to offer and I am looking forward to continuing my journey of bringing my imagination to life!
